It was a gorgeous day in Driftwood, TX -- just another affirmation from God that this was *THE DAY* he created day for Haley and Zach -- a day to promise their eternal faithfulness to each other at the historic Stonehouse Villa. As both best man, Joshua Zamora, and maid of honor, Erin Scheler, said in their toasts they knew instantly that this couple was different together than they had ever been apart.
As second shooter and photo assistant to the talented Joshua Ratliff, I got a unique behind-the-scenes view of their union. It was an honor and blessing to watch them generously stop and take time to greet each family member or guest as they arrived throughout the day. Clearly they have nurtured a loving support system and will have an entire army rooting for them as their marriage continues to grow.
Even though Zach has some major swag, he was as down-to-earth as they come.
Haley was a gracious hostess who managed to balance looking this gorgeous with directing all the family & friends gathered to help make this day perfect.
"I've never seen him in a suit!" Haley exclaimed before pinning this boutonniere on her father John.
The ceremony began underneath the stunning backdrop of the Stonehouse Villa trees and all were eagerly awaiting Haley's entrance.
...I think Zach was sufficiently excited.
As worship pastor at New Life Church in Corpus Christi, Zach took time during the ceremony to serenade his new bride. The entire ceremony was filled with amazing songs from friends and family. Honestly, I would expect nothing less.
And it's not every wedding where the family gathers together to say a prayer blessing the new marriage (and if Zach's mom gets her prayer blessed... a new family).
Thank you again, Haley + Zach for the opportunity to witness your wedding. It was a unique experience for me and a blessing to all who attended. I look forward to seeing the amazing plans God has for you in the future! Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Zamora.
